We are currently recruiting for an experienced Male Care Worker to join our client in a 1:1 care setting, providing dedicated support to an individual with advanced dementia, disabilities, and other complex needs. This role is based in Waltham Forest and surrounding areas. Job Role: You will be part of a 24-hour support service, delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and overall wellbeing. Responsibilities of a Male Support Worker: Assist clients with practical, daily living tasks to develop their independence, helping them to achieve the goals, aspirations and outcomes documented in their support plans Provide dedicated support to individuals with autism, using person-centred approaches tailored to their specific needs Manage and respond to challenging behaviour in a calm, safe and professional manner, using appropriate de-escalation techniques Build trusting relationships with individuals with autism, promoting emotional wellbeing, stability and routine Support individuals with daily living activities such as preparing meals, shopping and budgeting
