This could be the perfect next step for someone who s been working as a Deputy Technical Manager or Compliance Auditor and is ready to take on more responsibility in a company where your input will be valued and supported. The role The Technical Manager will play a key part in maintaining UKAS accreditations to ISO17025 and ISO17020. You ll be involved in a wide range of technical and compliance-led tasks across surveying, analytical and laboratory activities and you ll also contribute to staff development by supporting ongoing training and competency. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing compliance with asbestos technical procedures through audit reviews and training Managing the audit schedule and employee authorisation records Reviewing QA processes across inspection and testing activities Supporting internal training initiatives, including toolbox talks and refreshers Supporting new staff through induction and probation Managing internal QC and external proficiency testing schemes (RICE and AIMS) Assisting with UKAS assessments and closing out
