Leading Investment Management client is seeking Network andamp; Security Engineer who can design, implement, and operate the network and security estate, who brings experience, drive, enthusiasm, and a passion for technology. This is for a 6-month contract working 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home + on call The primary responsibility will be to design, implement and operate the network and security environment in accordance with the team''s policies, processes and procedures. As a technical member of the Network andamp; Security team, the main areas of focus will be: Operate within an Agile environment. Provide technical leadership within a collaborative team. Work in the team to design, implement and operate secure networking capabilities. Proactively maintain the network and security hardware, applications, and services. Respond to incidents, requests and troubleshoot connectivity or performance issues. Implement planned Change across all the devices and services under the management of the team. Respond to emergency situations and perform effective troubleshooting during Major Incidents as required. High degree of documentation skills, for creating and maintaining design and operational documentation, Change documentation, Runbooks, Test plans and any other operational documentation as required.
