GAIN Performance is seeking a Senior Performance Creative Strategist to lead performance-driven creative strategy across our paid media client portfolio. You will move beyond surface-level metrics—digging into creative performance data (Conversion Rate, Thumbstop Rate, Hold Rate, etc.) to uncover actionable insights and drive meaningful creative decisions. You will align creative output with business goals, lead clients with confidence, and collaborate across internal teams to ensure creative execution is impactful, scalable, and aligned with platform best practices. This is a leadership-level role where strategic thinking, creative instincts, and sharp analytical skills shape high-performing ads.Responsibilities
Creative Strategy and Insight Leadership: conduct deep-dive creative analysis using metrics such as Conversion Rate, CTR, Hook Rate, Thumbstop Rate, and Hold Rate to identify patterns and opportunities; lead strategic direction of creative testing, iterations, and messaging across platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.); stay ahead of trends and platform shifts; translate insights into high-impact briefs for design, UGC, and editing teams; oversee and improve the feedback loop between performance data and creative execution.Creative Testing and Optimization: design and oversee a structured creative testing roadmap; track and document tests; ensure a virtuous cycle between strategy, execution, and data-driven learning; partner with media buyers to align testing priorities with performance goals and spend distribution; identify creative fatigue early and propose fresh angles or formats.Cross-Functional and Client Leadership: act as a strategic partner to clients, lead client calls and performance reviews, and collaborate with Paid Media Managers, Creative Leads, Designers, and Account Managers to align output with campaign and client objectives; balance creative ambition with resource constraints and solve production or bandwidth challenges.Creative Production Oversight: guide and oversee creative execution from concept to delivery across UGC creators, editors, and designers; review assets to ensure performance goals, brand standards, and platform optimization; adapt strategy for different formats, placements, and audience segments.Requirements
4+ years in creative strategy or performance-driven content creation, ideally within a paid media or digital marketing environmentStrong ability to translate data into strategic insights and creative directionProven experience leading client conversations and managing multiple senior stakeholdersComfort with cross-functional team management and resolving creative bottlenecksDeep familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and creative performance analyticsSkilled at writing high-impact creative briefs and guiding execution across design, UGC, and post-productionPlatform expertise across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging ad platformsExperience working with UGC creators and freelance partners is a strong plusBenefits
