Veritas Education is working with a secondary school in Leeds to recruit a Cover Supervisor for a September start. This role offers flexibility and the potential to move into a full-time position through a temp-to-perm arrangement.

As a Cover Supervisor, you''ll be responsible for managing classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and complete pre-set work. You''ll play a key role in supporting learning, maintaining behaviour, and upholding school policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 and potentially Key Stage 5

• Deliver lesson plans provided by teaching staff

• Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment

• Manage behaviour in line with school expectations

Ideal Candidate:

• Confident managing groups of students

• Professional, adaptable, and calm under pressure

• Previous classroom experience is essential as you will be looking after classes alone from the start

• Interested in a career in education or looking for flexible or full time work in schools
