This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and knowledgeable HR professional to take ownership of a standalone generalist role, supporting both management and employees across all aspects of HR. You''ll play a key part in maintaining a positive, inclusive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation.Duties of the HR Advisor:Maintaining and updating HR policies, procedures, and the staff handbookEnsuring compliance with all relevant employment legislationActing as the main point of contact for HR queries from staff and managementSupporting recruitment activities, including interviewing and issuing offer letters and employment contractsConducting reference and right-to-work checksManaging employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, maternity, absence, and leaver administrationProviding guidance on employee relations matters such as disciplinaries and conflict resolutionMaintaining accurate employee records and HR databasesSupporting performance management, appraisals, and payroll informationMonitoring salary benchmarking, holiday, absence, and overtime recordsAssisting with health and safety policy updates and complianceStaying informed on legislative changes and best HR practice Key skills/experience:CIPD Level 5 q
