team. Candidates with significant post-qualification experience may appropriately be considered for an associate position. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer seeking to build a specialist practice in welfare proceedings and develop a meaningful legal career representing vulnerable individuals.You will be expected to manage your own caseload of

Court of Protection (welfare) cases

, primarily

s.21A applications

with a small number of

s.16 cases

, with

minimal supervision

. Experience of mental capacity and best interests’ issues is essential, and while supervision experience or complex s.16 casework is not required, it would be advantageous.This is a fantastic role for a conscientious, driven and organised individual looking to develop their profile in this area of law.
