We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider working on a long-term public sector contract.This is a mobile field-based role covering South London, responsible for delivering planned maintenance and reactive repairs across a high-volume of sites.You will be working on a critical public sector contract supporting multiple sites, each with commercial kitchens, dormitories, and associated building services infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesService, maintain, and repair commercial gas systemsFault-find and diagnose breakdowns across gas plant and heating systemsWork on boilers, water heaters, pipework, gas air heaters, and radiant tube heatersDeliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive worksCarry out minor installation and remedial worksProduce technical reports, job sheets, and compliance documentationIdentify and quote for remedial works and lifecycle replacementsEnsure all work complies with Gas Safe regulations, RAMS, and HandS standardsLiaise with contract teams and client representativesCandidate RequirementsEssentialCommercial Gas qualifications (Gas Safe registered)Strong background in gas servicing, maintenance, and fault-findingExperience in building services or FM environmentsFull UK driving licenceHighly DesirableExperience working on public sector or critical infrastructure contractsMulti-skilled background (mechanical / electrical awareness)Experience working with high-volume PP
