Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Theatre Nurse located in Glasgow. The Theatre Nurse will be responsible for assisting surgeons during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, monitoring patient vitals, and providing pre- and post-operative care. The role includes preparing the operating theatre, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring all surgical equipment is functional. The Theatre Nurse will also collaborate with the surgical team to deliver the highest standards of patient care.

QualificationsNursing qualifications and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)Experience in theatre nursing and surgical assistanceKnowledge of sterilization techniques and infection controlExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to manage high-stress environments and critical situationsAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
