Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading racking distributor who are seeking an experienced sales professional who can assist them in managing accounts in addition to developing new business on a regional and national basis. With a competitive package to include a good basic and strong earning potential, this is a great opportunity for an experienced sales professional from within racking and storage or other technical sales backgrounds.ResponsibilitiesManage and develop an existing client base across on a national basisGenerate new business by visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys and providing customer quotes for pallet racking and racking protection productsTake a consultative sales approach to both new and existing customers providing with them with the appropriate solutionsDevelop new project based business on a regional and national basis and managing each stage of the sales pipelineTake responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growthOverseeing tender process from start to completionRequirements Our client have a preference for an individual with experience in the Racking and Storage industry with a proven sales track record. However, they would also consider candidates from other technical sales backgrounds who provide a solutions approach to selling.
