ManpowerGroup Inc. is working with a leading food manufacturer based in Bradford, known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. As they continue to grow, our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Credit Controller to support their finance team during a busy period to start Immediately!

As Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, and maintaining strong relationships with customers.

This role is vital to maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting the wider finance function. Our client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.

• Location: Bradford (Onsite)
• Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 5:00pm; Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
• Contract: Full-time, Temporary (3 Months)
• Pay Rate: £14.19 per hour PAYE!
• Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the sales ledger
• Chase overdue payments via phone and email
• Allocate and reconcile incoming payments
• Issue customer statements and invoices
• Monitor credit limits and assess creditworthiness
• Resolve invoice queries and manage customer inbox
• Support month-end reporting and assist with management accounts
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve payment issues
• Release orders based on credit status

Requirements:

• Proven experience in credit control (minimum 3 years preferred)
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with Sage 200 or similar accounting software
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
