The Role

We''re on the hunt for a commercially savvy, technically strong Head of Finance who''s ready to roll up their sleeves and get under the skin of the business. Reporting to the CFO, you''ll work side-by-side with our senior leaders to drive growth, spot opportunities, and bring financial insights to life.

While you''ll contribute to core finance processes like month-end and forecasting, your real mission is to influence decisions, challenge assumptions, and become a true strategic partner across the business.

What You''ll DoLead the month-end close process and deliver timely, accurate financial reporting.Own budgeting and forecasting cycles, working closely with leaders to drive performance.Influence decision-making through sharp commercial insight and financial storytelling.Build financial models, run scenario planning, and provide ad hoc analysis for business initiatives.Develop and lead a small team, cultivating a high-performance, improvement-focused culture.Enhance financial controls and support continuous process optimisation.Support statutory reporting, audits, and compliance requirements.Embed finance into the fabric of the business, collaborating cross-functionally every step of the way.What You Bring

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with solid technical accounting skills.Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner role - bonus points if you''ve worked in e-commerce or a consumer brand.A confident communicator and relationship-builder who can influence at all levels.Analytical mindset with a laser focus on detail - you don''t just report numbers, you make them tell a story.Proactive and adaptable - you thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.Working Pattern

We believe the best ideas happen when we''re together, so this is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in our Birmingham office. This helps us maintain strong cross-functional relationships and a vibrant team culture.
