This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant to take on a more advanced role, supporting teaching and learning across the school.As an HLTA, you will work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences, lead small group interventions, and occasionally cover whole classes in the absence of a teacher.This position is starting on a part time basis with the view to extend into a full time role over time.Key Responsibilities:PPA and Staff Absence CoverSupport the planning and delivery of engaging lessons across the primary age rangeLead small group work and targeted interventions to support pupil progressProvide whole-class cover when requiredAssist in assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil developmentSupport pupils with varying needs, including SENDPromote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experienceProven experience working in a primary school settingStrong knowledge of the primary curriculumExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work independently and as part of a team
