Key Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, and manage raw material requirements based on production plans and customer orders for the manufacture process Oversee complete inventory management of raw materials Maintain stock levels Create and maintain accurate material data within the ERP/MRP system to support production and inventory planning. Raise purchase orders in a timely manner and ensure efficient tracking and expediting of materials to meet production deadlines. Proactively seek global cost-down opportunities in the UK and lower cost countries. Provide regular reporting on stock levels, forecasts, supplier performance, and material usage to internal stakeholders. Support sourcing and material planning for new product developments, working closely with RandD and Engineering departments. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning, stock management, and procurement processes. . Expedite critical material orders to meet production and customer delivery schedules. Build and maintain effective supplier relationships to ensure reliable and consistent material supply, minimising shortages and lead times. Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Finance, and Engineering teams to align material planning with operational and financial goals. Communicate and coordinate with cross-functional tea
