Clinical Teaching Fellow

About the RoleApplications are sought for the role of Clinical Teaching Fellow within the surgical simulation unit in Barts Cancer Institute (BCI), Queen Mary University of London. The Clinical Teaching Fellow will support Prof. Bijendra Patel to deliver the MSc Laparoscopic Surgery and Surgical Skills (LSSS) programme, including delivery of lectures and the various surgical practical modules using the surgical simulators, and the provision of student support for these clinically qualified students.About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated individual who is currently at ST1/2- ST8 training stagewith a MRCS/FRCS and completed minimum of 2 years of core surgical training.Essential requirements for this post include successful completion of Royal College of Surgeons Core Skills in Laparoscopic Surgery course or an equivalent course.Relevant teaching experience in laparoscopic surgery including eLearning or technology enhanced education would be an advantage.
