We are currently recruiting for an experienced production manager on behalf of a well established company based in Burntwood. This role is a permanent position with immediate starts available You will be required to work 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) Duties Manage daily production activities to ensure that production targets are met while maintaining quality standards. Implement and monitor process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components. Oversee quality control measures to guarantee that products meet specifications and regulatory requirements. Utilise ERP systems and SAP for effective inventory management and production planning. Lead a team of production staff, providing training and support to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Conduct regular assessments of production processes and equipment, ensuring mechanical knowledge is applied effectively. Prepare reports on production performance, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions. Qualifications Proven experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and practices. Familiarity with SAP and other ERP systems is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma.
