Multi Skilled Engineer 

42 hours per week, working a continental shift type pattern (7am – 7pm / 7pm – 7am). This post includes weekend work as part of a rotating schedule.

Food / Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities: 

• Carry out reactive and pre planned maintenance on a variety machines 

• Knowledge of equipment to include:-

  • Refrigeration systems
  • Vacuum packing equipment
  • Boilers and steam distribution network

• Assist team to work towards maximising plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised.
• Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full.
• Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed.
• Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents.
• Diagnostics and repair abilities of various electrical and automation systems
• Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets.
• PPM and Breakdown experience  

 Qualifications:

NVQ Level 3 in Engineering with strong cross trade skills in mechanical/electrical OR NVQ Level 3 in Mechatronics

Minimum of 4 years recent and relevant work experience within a production or manufacturing environment

Able to work rotating 12 hour, continental shifts with weekend and night shift work included
