PermanentA brilliant opportunity has arisen within an internationally regarded Development Management firm specialising in industrial, data centres, retail (warehouse, food and beverage), and more, for a New Business Director. This candidate will utilise their extensive network to attract new customers/occupiers to their schemes—targeting high profile, high yielding businesses. The sectors for which they are seeking customers in include retail, e-commerce, cold chain, manufacturing, automotive, and food and beverage. The successful candidate will spearhead business development, while also partnering closely with the development and asset management team to ensure the optimal process for customers.Key Responsibilities

Define and implement strategies to attract new customers, and work collaboratively with the internal teams to secure development opportunities across the UK, with scope across EuropeDevelop tailored end-to-end logistics and real estate solutions, aligning with sector-specific requirementsBuild and maintain senior-level relationships with customers, investors, consultants, regulators, and other key stakeholdersLead and mentor a team of internal professionals and external consultants to deliver business objectivesManage budgets and corporate activities to ensure cost efficiency and ROIEstablish and monitor KPIs for agents and stakeholders, driving a high-performance cultureRepresent the business at industry events and forums, positioning it as a market leaderCandidate Profile

Degree-level qualification in Real Estate, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master’s and/or RICS preferred)Extensive senior experience in warehousing, logistics, or real estate with a strong track record in business developmentProven success in at least two target sectors: retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, automotive, food and beverage, or cold chainStrong negotiation, commercial, and financial modelling skillsWhat’s on Offer
