The successful candidate will be a hands-on network specialist, ideally CCNA-certified (CCNP desirable), and will work in a secure, on-site environment, delivering robust and secure network solutions to classified systems.Key Responsibilities:Provide network engineering support to the Defensive Network ServicesInstall, configure, and maintain networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)Manage routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), VPNs, VLANs, ACLs, and NATEnsure secure network implementation in accordance with MOD standards (e.g., JSP 604 / 440)Diagnose and resolve network faults and performance issuesMaintain accurate technical documentation, network diagrams, and change recordsCollaborate closely with project teams, security teams, and MOD stakeholdersEssential Skills and Experience:Active DV Clearance - must be currently heldStrong experience as a hands-on Network EngineerCCNA certified (or equivalent level); CCNP desirableProficient in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco network environmentsGood knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, and secure networking practicesComfortable working in a high-security MOD setting, fully on-siteAbility to work independently, as well as part of a multi-disciplinar
