The school is looking to appoint a full-time Learning Support Assistant on a long-term temporary basis from September. The successful Learning Support Assistant will support students aged 11-16 across a range of subjects, using their enthusiasm for sport and physical activity to build positive relationships, encourage engagement and support students with their learning and development.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational, coaching or mentoring capacity
• A passion for sport and promoting positive participation
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to motivate and engage secondary school students
• A patient, resilient and proactive approach
• A genuine commitment to supporting young people''s learning and wellbeing
