Graduate Planner Permanent Birmingham 25,000 - 28,000 Per Annum Plus Benefits Ref: DB003 A brilliant opportunity for an ambitious graduate to join a highly respected consultancy that has a large planning team nationwide. They work across a wide range of sectors and projects from small residential extensions to large-scale regeneration schemes. Areas of specialism include urban mixed-use developments, housing, retail, sports venues, energy infrastructure, master planning, urban design, environmental impact assessments, community engagement, and heritage planning. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications for a wide range of developments Support the assembly of evidence and documentation required for planning submissions and appeals Conduct research into planning policy, site constraints, and development potential Liaise with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders throughout the planning process Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams on complex projects Gain exposure to negotiations involving Section 106 agreements and Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Contribute to both major regeneration schemes and smaller-scale local projects Requirements RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or related discipline Interest in Planning Strong analytical skills Excellent communication, written and verbal Proactive and collaborative attitude Full UK Driving License Benefits 25 days annual leave Pension Company mobi
