As they-continue to scale, they-are seeking a commercially astute Financial Controller to lead their-finance function and support strategic decision-making at the highest level.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a hands-on leadership role managing a team of seven. You''ll be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting operational efficiency, and driving best practices across the finance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance function.
• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts with commentary.
• Consolidate group accounts and oversee balance sheet reconciliation.
• Lead payroll processing, including commissions.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage working capital.
• Ensure timely VAT submissions and maintain banking relationships.
• Develop board packs and support board-level reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors and oversee the audit process.

What they are looking for

• Essential Skills & Experience

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA).
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in the Telecoms or IT sector.
• Proven resilience in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
• Ability to manage and develop a finance team.
• Experience producing timely and accurate reporting.

• Desirable

• Experience working with C-suite stakeholders.
• Previous responsibility for managing the external audit process.
