This deluxe venue needs a Sous Chef to complete the team.As Sous Chef you will be able to demonstrate a 1/2-rosette level background, and have a flair and originality to bring to the team. The ideal Sous Chef must be a competent all-rounder, able to cover all sections and deputise for the Head Chef in his absence and have some knowledge of GPs and hygiene legislation.This property holds a host of accolades, and theyre keen to retain these as the concept becomes more of a ''relaxed fine dining operation, with the focus on achieving fantastic flavours from local seasonal ingredients simply, as opposed to some of the more ''trendy techniques, and with a less formal style of service.Qualification/Skill RequiredMinimum of 2 years of previous experience working at this levelLevel 2 Health and Hygiene CertificateNVQ in professional cookery / or equivalent, preferredExcellent package and benefits for the right candidate.Located close to Colchester, Sudbury and Ipswich.
