Quality Engineer opportunity available with a sub contract engineering company in Gloucester, GL3, paying c 40,000, working straight days As a result of a healthy order book our client is looking for an additional Quality Engineer to join their team. Supporting customers across a broad range of industries such as aerospace and oil and gas to name but two, they have a built a reputation with their customers for providing high quality products. As Quality Engineer for our client your role will involve the following: perform all 1st off inspectionscarry out First Article Inspection Reportshave experience of using CMM alongside conventional measuring equipmentcarry out in-process inspection alongside final inspectionliaise with customers with any issues that need resolvingbe responsible for quality assurancehave a good understanding of aerospace procedures and quality issueshave a general knowledge of common plating processescalibrate all measuring equipmentuse MRP system on a daily basiscarry out all corrective actionsorganise all necessary paperwork for dispatch For your application for the role of Quality Engineer to be successful you will need the following: recognised relevant qualification or time served apprenticeshipexcellent problem solving skills with the ability to innovatestrong working experience gained with manufacturing/engineeringexcellent verbal and written communication skills strong team player with the ability to work unsupervised Working hours: Monday to Th
