An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester within an Independent, Family-Run Workshop located in Midhurst.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties:

- Performing routine servicing and maintenance on all makes and models of vehicles
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
- Carrying out MOT tests (if qualified)
- Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and preparation of sales vehicles
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with industry regulations

Requirements:

- Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 2 or 3 NVQ/IMI or equivalent)
- MOT Tester Certificate (preferred, but not essential – training can be provided)
- Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication skills and a customer-first approach

The salary of this role is up to £30,000 - £42,000 Basic + Performance Bonus + Overtime (Paid at Time and a Half).

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (No Weekends!).
