They have recently secured a landmark 200m residential development in Birmingham and are now seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.The Role:As a Quantity Surveyor on this flagship project, you will be an integral part of the commercial team, responsible for managing all financial aspects of a section of the scheme. Your responsibilities will include:Assisting in the preparation of cost plans, estimates, and bills of quantities.Managing and monitoring project costs to ensure they remain within budget.Administering sub-contractor accounts from procurement to final account.Preparing and submitting monthly valuations and payment applications.Managing variations, claims, and final accounts.Conducting on-site measurements and valuations.Working collaboratively with the site team and project manager to ensure commercial success.The Candidate:The ideal candidate will be a proactive and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record of working on large-scale construction projects.
