Ready to bring Shakespeare to life, champion literacy, and inspire the next generation of writers£ Our partner school in the Bexley area is seeking a dynamic English Teacher who knows their metaphors from their motifs and can sprinkle a little magic into every lesson.
Contract: Full time or part time andndash; September 2025 start
Salary: andpound;163 - andpound;223 per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative English lessons to KS3 andamp; KS4 pupils
- Plan, prepare, and assess work to ensure positive outcomes
- Foster a love of literature, poetry, and language in the classroom
- Maintain discipline and encourage positive behaviour for learning
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for English
- Experience teaching English in secondary schools preferred
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A sense of humour and a spark of creativity
