Mechanical Team Leader

Long term contract till December 2027

Monday to Fridays Days 7.30am to 3.30pm (40 hour week)

We’re on the lookout for a Mechanical Team Leader with real hands-on skill and Team Leading experience in the Rail/Vehicle indsutries

Mechanical Team Leader Role

• Responsible for shift briefs, work allocations, KPI''s and monitoring
• Experience in large fitting environments, coach/vehicle builds
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
• Using hand and power tools for cutting, folding, and fitting
• Quality checking builds for alignment and accuracy
• Following Health & Safety procedures and maintaining a safe workspace

What You’ll Need as the Mechanical Team Leader

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Team Leader in a fast-paced or technical environment
• Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Confident with a wide range of hand and power tools
• Problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail
• HS focus and Quality first
• Background in Aviation, Military, Marine, or similar sectors is an advantage

Mechanical Team Leader Pay

• Long term contract
• PAYE £22.37ph
• Umbrella £30.50ph
