An established Developer, Owner and Operator of Sustainable assets requires a Development Manager to grow the company through developing projects and assessing acquisitions locally. Responsibilities The Development Manager will have a comprehensive understanding of the industries in which the business operates and will effectively identify and seize creative opportunities for future growth at a strategic level. These business areas include; CHP, AD, EfW, Solar, Biomass and Waste technology and GreenTech. Understand and evaluate policy, technical and consumer driven trends to help identify future fresh opportunities. Creatively and strategically evaluate opportunities against investment framework. Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to robustly analyse concepts. Present and make recommendations to the Leadership Team and board. Lead technical and consenting aspects of project development and delivery and work collaboratively with the commercial and marketing team for all market aspects. Build relationships with all relevant stakeholders. Mitigate any and all risks associated with the development journey. Requirements Significant knowledge of projects with in any of; CHP, AD, Bioenergy, EfW, Solar, new waste technology, and energy-related Greentech. Ability to deliver presentations to the board for investment approval. A keen interest in renewable energy and sustainability. Comfortable working autonomously but also a strong team player.
