Temp to Perm position. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join our growing team. Work will involve mutidrop using a tail lift when needed and some possible handball. Whether you are a Class 2 driver that wants to work 1-day, all week, or various days to suit your home/work life balance, we want to hear from you. HGV Class 2 Driver will need: Cat-C Licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card No more than 6 points (No DD''s, DR''s, IN''s, TT''s) Experience with ratchet straps Experience in a fast-paced multi-drop environment Excellent customer service skills and good literacy Full UK Driving licence, Class 2 entitlement held for a minimum of 2 years. Able to work to tight deadlines HGV Class 2 Driver Duties will include: Driving company vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance Maintaining regular contact with the traffic office on daily progress Completing paperwork accurately as instructed Dealing with customers face to face in a polite and courteous manner £16 p/h for the first eight hours, £20 overtime.(45min break will be deducted per day)
