Enfield Carers Centre are looking for a part time
Mental Health Support Worker .
You will work as a member of Enfield Carers Centre to support the delivery of mental health support services to unpaid family carers in Enfield.The role involves engaging with Carers who are looking after somebody with Mental health illness or who may have their own Mental health challenges to identify appropriate support options and take steps to help them access these services.The successful post holder will be committed to working with Carers to empower them to reduce the impact their caring role has on their own wellbeing, and/or support them to withdraw from elements of, or even all, care provision should this be causing them concern.Who Should Apply?
The ideal candidate will have experience of working either in the voluntary sector or in health and social care in an advisory capacity, or have a strong admin, customer service background.In line with Enfield Carers Centre’s safer recruitment policy, the post holder is expected to demonstrate a commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children.Benefits of Working With Us
