Your new company This well-established business providing IT services to schools across the North West has an excellent reputation for the high level of service they provide to the primary sector, and they have approached Hays looking to add to their team. The business has been established for over 20 years and therefore has developed excellent relationships with schools across the region, with a particularly strong presence in the Merseyside area and this particular role will be based in the Wirral area, where you will become an integral part of this collaborative team. Your new role Reporting to the IT Service Director, you will be responsible for providing a high level of IT support to your cluster of primary school which will be based in the Wirral area, working closely with leadership and teaching staff to ensure excellent IT provision. You will be joining an established team of IT Technicians who are skilled at providing IT support in the education sector, and you will therefore work closely with colleagues upon joining the business to ensure you are fully knowledgeable before being assigned your own schools. From a support perspective, this will involve providing first and second line support with a range of issues logged through a helpdesk system. These issues could relate to hardware, software, bespoke educational technologies and working with firewalls and on backups.
