FINTEC recruit is supporting hiring for a Senior Cost Engineer/Controller, working on large infrastructure projects. This role is permanent working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, based in Brighton. Salary is up to circa £60,000 plus benefits/bonus and hybrid working opportunity. Responsibilities: Overseeing cost control and forecasting on key projects and forecasts aligned to project cost breakdown structure (CBS) and all in line with NEC contract conditions. Cost management throughout the project lifecycle with detailed analysis of costs and assessing and monitoring changes in year and overall project Estimate at Completion (EAC). Update project forecasts to maintain an accurate and comprehensive Estimate to Complete (ETC) Produce monthly cost reports, including cost performance analysis, variances, trends, forecasts and contingency drawdown. Management (EVM) and Cost Performance Index (CPI). Conduct reviews of contractor cost reports and application for payments, working collaboratively with partners Contribute to and support the Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA) process. Skills and Experience required for the Senior Cost Engineer/Controller role: Have extensive experience of working in a cost management role within large-scale infrastructure of similar projects with knowledge of NEC contracts Degree qualified (not essential) in a relevant field such as Civil Engineering, Quantify Surveying, Finance Hold Professional certification such as AACE, AMP, AcostE Stro
