Responsibilities

Leading, mentoring and coaching a team of Cost EngineersControl, monitor, analyse and report cost related aspects for designated projects within a Portfolio.Performance Analysis– identify and understand variances against the baseline.Cost ReconciliationMonthly reporting including status reports and accountability meetings with stakeholders.Cost ForecastingBaseline ManagementChange and Risk ManagementDevelopment and use of Project Control Structures (CBS, OBS, WBS etc.)Close working relationship with the Planning Project team to maintain an aligned financial position with the project plan, playing a key role in an integrated Project Delivery team

Qualifications

Previous Line Management experienceExperience using estimating, scheduling, programming and risk toolsExhibits awareness of the level of interaction required with the project team function to support the successful delivery of projectsExperience of Earned Value Analysis / Earned Value Management (EVM)High level of numeracy and excellent analytical skill

Desirable

Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills working in a team environmentRelevant experience in Project Controls and/or Project Delivery, preferably in a highly regulated environmentExcellent MS Office skills and well versed in the preparation of reports and information using packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPointHNC/HND, degree qualified or experience in a cost related discipline is desirableMACostE
