You’ll be joining a well-established, supportive agency, working in fantastic, well-resourced schools with libraries and well stocked English departments, teaching students across Year 7 through to Year 11: Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. 

We are looking for English Teacher''s with specialist degrees in literature, language or associated subject areas. You will be working across both Key Stage 3 / KS3 & Key Stage 4 / KS4, including exam preparation for GCSEs, work is set by the department unless you are working in a long-term capacity. You may initially cover short term absence or fulfill the role of a teacher who is absent longer term. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve expected results at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4; offering continuity for students when their usual teacher is absent. Many of these roles can lead to a longer term position and even a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. 

The successful Teacher of English will have:

-          QTS with English as your specialism (ECT’s are welcome to apply)

-          Experience teaching English Lang & Lit up to Year 11 GCSE: Key Stage 4 / KS4

-          Excellent planning, classroom management & behaviour management strategies
