Quality Engineer

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (DOE)

An established manufacturing business within the steel / industrial sector is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to join their team on a permanent, days-based role due to continued growth.

The Role:
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving product quality, ensuring compliance with customer, industry, and internal standards. You will work closely with production, engineering, and management teams to drive continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve quality management systems
• Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analysis
• Implement corrective and preventive actions
• Support internal and external audits
• Liaise with customers on quality-related issues
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives

• Previous experience in a Quality Engineer or similar role
• Strong understanding of quality systems and standards (e.g. ISO 9001)
• Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
