Job Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Buddy/Support Worker to support a 12 year old boy with a brain injury in the community. This role involves working closely with the family to provide high-quality companionship care, ensuring that his needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Responsibilities: Provide attentive and personalised care in a community setting. Engage in activities such as basketball and football. Support the young person in daily routines and therapeutic activities. Communicate effectively with the child and family members. Ensure a safe environment while meeting the physical demands of the role. Ideal Candidate: Experience in with Brain Injury. Confident with sports and physical activities. Clearly spoken with excellent communication skills. Physically fit to meet the demands of the role. Valid driving license with Business Use Insurance and own vehicle Available to start immediately. Clear and concise English Language ability Work Schedule: Term Time: 12 hour Day Shifts: Tuesday, Thursday and SaturdayNon-Term Time: 12 hour Day Shifts: Monday - Saturday Compensation: £14.22 per hour (PAYE) or £16.17/hour with holiday roll
