People Group are looking to recruit an Assistant Project Manager from a Water background to work for a leading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK.Position: Assistant Project ManagerRate: Inside IR35Location: Abbey WoodDuration: 6 months+Responsibilities:Reporting to the client and striving to meet their needs. They should ensure the smooth running of the project and work closely with the Programme Manager / Project Manager.Ensure the safe, efficient and compliant completion of work under his/her control.Be able to prepare and produce project RAMS.Ensure that his/her team is continually driving to improve their performance, and that new ideas and innovation are encouraged and developed.Ensuring that all plant, materials and subcontract resource is managed and on site as neededReport to the Programme/Project Manager/Client weekly on the status of the Project.Complete and submit site audits and close out actions arising. Completion and submission of Hazard spots.Complete PPE checks including head protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, gloves, High visibility clothing. Other PPE as required by task.Ensure compliance with NRSWA notices and permit conditions.Ensure water quality standards are maintained, ensuring pipe ends are sealed, storage of materials, chloros, usage etc.Ensure the data integrity of all jobs completed including random dip testing of data including but not limited to; serial numbers (bar codes), co-ordinates, phot
