UK RemoteWe are seeking an experienced and innovative

Principal, AI Data Scientist

to lead the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI/ML/GenAI solutions that will transform clinical trial operations and digital healthcare. This is an opportunity to work on impactful projects that directly improve patient outcomes and shape the future of healthcare technology.Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement AI/ML/GenAI solutions to optimize clinical trial operations, including patient recruitment, retention, and real-time data monitoring.Build generative AI applications for automating clinical trial documentation, such as medical reports, study protocols, and patient narratives.Create and enhance digital healthcare tools for medical and scientific use, real-world evidence generation, and patient engagement.Develop predictive models and generative AI solutions leveraging diverse healthcare data sources, including clinical trials, EHRs, wearables, and HEOR datasets.Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical operations, medical affairs, RWE teams, and patient engagement groups to address complex challenges.Ensure all solutions comply with regulatory requirements and data privacy standards.Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices in AI within RandD teams.Required Skills and Experience

Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Biostatistics, or a related field.3–5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year applying AI/ML techniques to healthcare or clinical research data.Strong programming skills in

Python

or

R , with experience using

PyTorch

or

TensorFlow .Proven experience with

generative AI ,

large language models (LLMs) , and

natural language processing .Familiarity with

digital healthcare tool development

and deployment.Experience with

AWS

or other cloud platforms, as well as

MLOps

and version control tools.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications

Background in healthcare AI implementation.Experience with multiple healthcare data types, including clinical trial datasets, EHRs, wearables, and HEOR data.What We Offer
