SJC Partners are working with a leading law firm seeking a Conveyancing Fee-earner with specialist experience in Residential New Build to join their expanding team in Colchester. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of all aspects of residential property conveyancing, particularly new build transactions, and will be confident managing a portfolio of clients efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities: Handle the end-to-end residential new build conveyancing process, from instruction to completion. Liaise with developers, clients, and third parties to ensure smooth transaction progression. Provide clear and professional advice to clients on legal and procedural matters. Prepare, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and related legal documentation. Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and client care. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support team objectives and deadlines. Person Specification: Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or equivalent. Proven experience in residential conveyancing, specifically new build transactions. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Excellent communication and client relationship skills. Ability to manage a busy workload effectively and work to deadlines. Proactive and motivated, with a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
