As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work in the Reception Class as a general TA, providing vital support to children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective learning activities.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with SEND.

• Assist in planning and preparing resources to enhance learning in the Reception Class.

• Monitor and record children''s progress, feeding back to teachers and parents as required.

• Help to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.

• Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction among pupils.

• Contribute to the wider school community and ethos as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.

To be considered for this EYFS Teaching Assistant position you will need:

• A minimum of a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare.

• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.

• Right to work in the UK.

• Previous experience working with young children, ideally including SEND support.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A positive, proactive and nurturing approach to supporting early years learning.
