Working alongside an exceptional Head of Finance, this broad and varied role will involve assisting with the production of management accounts, including, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, etc. As well as cashflows, banking and transactional activities, all whilst playing a pivotal role in the growth and success of the business.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Assisting with month-end, including preparing and posting journals, variance analysis and generating management accountsAnalysing costs and expenses and identifying areas for cost control and efficiency improvementsAssisting with forecasting and budget preparationBalance sheet reconciliationsPreparing and presenting management reports on key financial metricsAssisting with monthly cost of sales reporting and helping to identify improvements and areas for investigationCreating and implementing analytical tools and reports, variances, trends and opportunity for improvement to add value for the wider businessInternal and external auditsLiaising with all departments and assisting in preparing management reportingContribute to continuous improvement of finance processes, controls
