SEN Teacher Assistant (Part-Time/Full-Time 3 days a week, Long-Term)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one support to an eager and enthusiastic student with autism, assisting in the implementation of a Personal Learning Plan (PLP). Support the student in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities, while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure the student''s needs are met. Monitor and record the student''s progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.

Requirements:

vandnbsp; Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.

vandnbsp; A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach.

vandnbsp; Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

vandnbsp; Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

vandnbsp; Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous.

vandnbsp; A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

vandnbsp; Hold a current and valid DBS check or be willing to obtain one
