V.Ships Leisure is looking for Cruise Staff on behalf of MSC Cruises.Are you ready to bring joy and excitement to life at sea?As a vital part of our Entertainment Team, your purpose is to create unforgettable experiences for our guests on board.You will lead dynamic events, host engaging activities, and be friendly, ensuring our guests are always entertained.Whether it’s hosting trivia nights, organizing themed parties, or simply sharing a warm smile, your energy and enthusiasm will shape the spirit of our cruise experience.Key Responsibilities

Support the Cruise Staff Manager-Cruise Activities Manager in all entertainment activities and games on board and ashore (ex. Islands).These activities include, but are not limited to:Games by or in swimming poolsTournaments and sports activities (using prescribed standard procedures where these exist).Games and activities in lounges Cultural activitiesMimes, plays, concerts and other performances as directed by the Cruise Staff Manager - Cruise Activities Manager.Board games and close-up activitiesTrivia, talent shows, and other Passenger-involvement activitiesWorkshops of graphic or body expression, dance classes, arts and crafts, language lessons, etc.Prepare all material required for scheduled activities, and return all said material to specified storage areas after any such performance or activity.Be on station at the point of performance at least 15 minutes before the activity start.Advertise by socializing and circulating with Passenger all opportunities for Passenger involvement in these activities, taking great care at all times to ensure no Passengers are embarrassed by or forced into taking part in activities if they resent any such involvement.Socialize with Passenger at all times, giving special attention to the very young, the very old, any disadvantaged persons, Passengers travelling alone, or Passengers of minority languages where involvement may be difficult.Dance with PassengersListen to requests and comments of Passengers, taking positive action to remedy any problems by reporting any problems advised by Passengers to the Cruise Director.Stimulate and help to create a social atmosphere amongst the Passengers.Participate in all meetings of the entertainment and entertainment team as required by the Cruise director or the Cruise Staff Manager – Cruise Activities Manager.Report continuously about his/her job and activities to the Cruise Staff Manager – Cruise Activities ManagerThe user of this document is responsible to ensure it is the latest version MSC Standard Procedures ManualTranslation helpEmbark and Debark dutiesShore ExcursionsCruise Director supportShore activitiesGoverning StatusHelp other members of the entertainment team with language or translation when this becomes necessary.When required by the Cruise Director be present during embarkation and disembarkation of Passengers, offering welcome on board, and good wishes at the end of a cruise Participate in shore excursions in the role of an escort, representing the Company, and offering reassurance, high visibility and socializing to Passengers on those excursions:Reporting any problems, shortcomings and difficulties connected with the excursion to the Shore Excursion Manager at the end of the excursion. Provide general assistance as required by the cruise Director at all performances. Theseduties include, but are not limited to:Monitoring door accessAssistance for performersTaking part in performancesGuiding PassengersAssist and co-operate as required at Beach landings and ports where tendering mayrequire entertainment support.Refer to the onboard standard procedure 06.11.00 Crew PrivilegesEducation/Experience/Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:Previous experience in entertainment roles.The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus (Japanese/Korean/Russian).Availability to travel and work for extended periods at sea.A love for engaging with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
