Search Recruitment Group are supporting a fast-growing business with the recruitment of an Assistant Management Accountant to work closely with the Head of Finance. This role will offer progression and study support towards CIMA/ACCA. The Assistant Management Accountant role sits within the head office in Castleford providing first-class support to business sites across the UK. Working in a small team, the successful candidate will have exposure to both internal and external stakeholders, helping to shape the future direction of the business. This role is vital in promoting a robust control environment, whilst producing timely and accurate Management Accounts.Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be accountable for the month end close process and compilation of the Management Accounts. You will partner with the relevant budget holders regarding a selection of PandL cost lines, reporting variances and trends. You will ensure the maintenance of Fixed Asset Register, depreciation and capex, along with the maintenance of general prepayments and accruals schedules.
