Quality Technician

A specialist plastics manufacturing company with over 50 years of expertise is seeking a skilled Quality Technician to join their team.Working within an established quality department sporting state-of-the-art machinery including CMM, vision measuring and laser scanning systems you will play an integral part of ensuring the highest levels of service are provided to their customers, which range from SMEs to large international OEMs. Up to 35,000, 33 days holiday, career progression As a Quality Technician, your duties will include:Conduct first-offs, last-offs and sample inspections Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentationCMM programming tasksConduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studiesCalibration of metrology equipmentPerforming routine maintenance and validation activitiesSupport Root Cause Analysis and assist in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.Assisting with preparing QC SOPs and reviewing product specificationsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance. To be successful in the role of Quality Technician, the ideal candidate will have:A strong background in Quality Engineering from a manufacturing environmentExperience of CMM inspection / programmingExperience of quality standards such as ISO9001 or IATF16949Experience in Root cause analysis, including non-conformity managementComputer literacy in Excel, Word and Power point If you have the skills above and you''re interested to find ou
