Manpower is seeking Scientific Production Operatives.We invite applications from recent graduates in engineering, science, or related disciplines seeking valuable industry experience, as well as individuals with operational expertise in chemical, pharmaceutical, or related sectors.Position: Temporary Scientific Production OperativeContract Duration: 6 months.Location: Didcot, Milton ParkPayrates: Day shift: £12.50 per hour. Night shift: £15.00 per hourShift Pattern: Rotational shifts following a consistent schedule of 4-day shifts, 4 days off, 4-night shifts.Key Responsibilities: Operate pilot plant equipment (comprehensive training provided)Assemble and disassemble plant equipment for maintenance and troubleshooting (training provided)Monitor production processes and diagnose faults.Handle and prepare raw materials and products to required standards.Maintain high quality standards throughout production.Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and actively promote a safety-first culture.Participate as a member of the site Emergency Response TeamAlways maintain excellent housekeeping standards. Candidate Requirements: Eligible to work in the UK.Minimum qualification of NVQ/BTEC or equivalent in a technical or scientific disciplineExceptional attention to detail with experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Comfortable working with tools and performing assembly/disassembly tasks.Capable of manual handling within Health and Safety Executive (HSE) limits
