An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic within a Fast-Fit business in Basildon.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

- Monday to Friday plus Alternate Saturdays (weekday off when Saturday worked)
- Days Off Per Weeks: Sundays and a Day Off in the week which can be flexible to suit your needs.
- Competitive Salary: from £32,000 basic + performance related bonus.

Duties:

- Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
- MOT Testing
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
- Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements:

- A level 2 or 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanics.
- A proven track record from within a professional workshop completing servicing, minor and fast-fit repairs.
- Professional appearance and good communication skills.
- Current VOSA MOT Tester certificate would be a significant advantage.

The salary of this role is up to £32,000 basic.

The Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role is a 5 Day working week.
