Head of Sales - Energy & Utilities

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Sales Professional to lead new business development within the UK Energy & Utilities sector. This is a strategic, high-impact role ideal for a results-oriented sales leader who thrives on identifying and closing complex opportunities across professional services and technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and winning high-value clients ("new logos") within the UK Energy & Utilities sector
- Sell Expleo''s professional services and technology solutions, tailoring offerings to meet client needs and market demands
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand Expleo''s footprint and brand presence across the vertical
- Achieve and exceed personal and team sales targets, continuously monitoring performance and supporting team success
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships, including engagement with C-level stakeholders and decision-makers
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design and deliver innovative service lines and bundled solutions that drive client value
- Coordinate with other regions to grow Expleo''s presence across multi-national portfolios and strategic accounts
- Represent Expleo externally, acting as a key spokesperson and maintaining a strong personal brand within the Energy & Utilities sector
Essential skills
- Deep understanding of the UK Energy & Utilities market
- Proven success in selling professional services and technology solutions
- Strong network within the sector, with ability to engage C-level decision-makers
- Expertise in bid development and sales proposals
- Self-starter with excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales plans
- Collaborative mindset, able to work cross-functionally to deliver integrated solutions
- Results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets
- Commercial acumen, with strong understanding of pricing, margin, and value proposition
- Adaptability, comfortable navigating a fast-paced and evolving market landscape
- Leadership capability, able to inspire and guide teams toward shared goals
- Credibility and presence, representing the company confidently in industry forums and client engagements
