A joinery business in Witham are seeking an experienced Wood Machinist to join their team. This role involves operating a variety of woodworking machinery to produce high-quality components for retail, commercial, and display projects.

The hourly rate is up to -20ph, working 8am till 5pm Monday to Friday. This is a 40 hour week.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery including spindle moulders, saws, planers, and CNC routers

• Read technical drawings and cutting lists

• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency

• Work collaboratively with workshop teams

Requirements

• Minimum five years'' experience in a joinery or manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery and timber materials

• Ability to work from technical drawings with attention to detail

• Self-motivated with good communication skills

Desirable

• NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry and Joinery

• Experience with CNC machinery

• Supervisory experience or knowledge of LEAN practices is an advantage
